  • Has the ability and intensity to push players to reach their maximum potential both on and off the court!

  • 11 Time National Junior Champion, 10 time finalist, 19 Gold & Silver Balls!

  • 15+ years teaching experience developing thousands of young players!
  • Directs Summer and holiday camps; Junior Team Tennis (JTT) programming, 10U, and Challenger Programs for King Daddy Sports. 
  • Provides an amazing, fun,  learning and developmental environment for all students to learn and grow!

  • Graduate of Tyler Junior College Tennis Tech Program.
  • Taught at Rice University tennis camps and junior programs.
  • Oliver is passionate about the sport and will share this with students and adult players.

  • 2011-May 2017: traveling coach with USTA players
  • June 2017 - present: coach at KDS at Chancellors
  • Father of son Said and daughter Nora

Brian Mandell

  • Middle School head of tennis and Upper School Assistant at The Kinkaid.
  • Graduate from Memorial High School and the University of Houston with a bachelor's degree in Sports Administration.
  • Began playing tennis in the King Daddy Junior Academy at age 11
  • Reached super championship level in different age divisions
  • Started teaching at the age of 16.

Eric Hagenimana

High Performance Coach, Academy Coach

Former Rwanda Number One National Player, Eric played Davis Cup position #1 representing Rwanda seven consecutive times from 2001-2007.
Playing career also included:
Junior ITF World Ranking, Top 100 2002   
2004: Won ITF East African Tournament single in Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda
2005: Won ITF East African Tournament single and Doubles in Rwanda, Djibouti and Burundi
Eric has recently moved to Houston from Newks Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels where he was an adult tennis coordinator.  Eric has the passion to work with all level of tennis players and is a great addition to our staff.

High Performance Coach, Academy Coach

Sunday Jegede has over 15 years of experience as a tennis professional and coaching tennis. He is a former member of Nigerian Davis Cup Team. He reached ITF Jr world singles ranking of 102, and 83 in doubles. Sunday had an ATP ranking of 1200 in 2001.

Forrest Jenkins

  • Forrest Andrew Jenkins, II was born in Houston, TX USA and began playing tennis at the age of 8.
  • Forrest competed in the Super-Championship division in Texas as a junior player
  • Graduated as the valedictorian of Worthing H.S. in 2006
  • He attended Florida A&M University where he played singles, doubles, and contributed to multiple HBCU National Championships
  • Forrest has been coaching in the Houston area since 2012 and works with all skill levels

Member of USTA/Texas Section for 23 years. He achieved Junior ranking of top 3 in Texas at 12,14,16 and 18 and under age divisions, Winner 2001 Texas Sectionals (Boys 16) age division. He was ranked top 10 in nation in Junior singles, he was also ranked top 5 in nation in Junior doubles (2001). 13 years Tennis coaching experience. Former Player Development Professional (Kluge Tennis Center). Excel in situations where high level play and instruction is involved. Experienced in developing high performance players in Academy style format. Results driven coach providing high level instruction using new age techniques while reinforcing basic fundamentals. He is a USPTA certified, and a USPTR certified.
